Integration with
County Boards

Brittco has integrated County Boards with Providers, providing a common platform for data sharing - a feat no other software provider in Ohio has accomplished. This platform enables the sharing of datasets such as the OhioISP, outcomes, incidents, and local funding. Its implementation delivers increased efficiency and productivity to both county boards and providers who use it.

Outcome Tracking

Brittco OhioISPs can automatically be displayed when a new span begins, forcing DSPs to read and sign before documenting. And with just a few minutes of training, DSPs can learn to document client outcomes and experiences and receive fully-compliant reports.

Medications (eMARS)

Detailed documentation on the disbursement of medications can be entered, including times, who disbursed, narcotic counts, and narratives when necessary.  And you can also keep track of measurements such as insulin levels, blood pressure, body temperature, etc.   

Incident Reporting

When an incident occurs, your DSP can pick up his or her smart phone or tablet, quickly write up the basics of the incident, and automatically alert the manager or administrator—all within moments of the incident occurring. Then, the remainder of the incident report is finished and sent to the SSA, IA, (and anyone else) as a DODD-compliant MUI/UI report. In addition, your quarterly and annual Incident Trend reports can be completed in a fraction of the time. 

Residential Services

Homemaker Personal Care (HPC), Shared Living, Respite, and Remote Monitoring are just a few of the residential services we support that uses a simple interface for staff to clock in and out. Documenting HPC Transportation ensures compliance, and support for OSOC schedules eliminates the need for clocking out and clocking back in when the OSOC shift begins. Upon clocking out, you get Medicaid documentation and EVV compliance, Medicaid billing, and payroll reporting. Since Brittco is a certified EVV software solutions provider, there is no need to have any additional hardware or software to be fully compliant with all the EVV requirements.

Scheduling

We designed the Scheduler feature of our Brittco software to serve as your one-stop tool for keeping track of your staff and clients. Trying to track various events, courses, certifications, and HPC schedules for your staff is complicated and it’s easy for important dates and deadlines to slip through the cracks. Client medical appointments, community events, and vaccination schedules are among many other examples of how the Brittco Scheduler can be a valuable tool. 

Client Information

A very comprehensive record of information can be managed and tracked for each individual.  Examples include basic demographics, special diets, mobility supports, span dates, waiver and acuity, contact information for doctors, finances, and much more.

Medicaid & Non-Medicaid Billing

Brittco billing can save hours of time and potentially thousands of dollars in lost revenue. Reconciliation also helps keep track of receivables and dramatically simplifies the process of adjusting and re-billing for previously unpaid or incorrect entries.  All DODD billing codes and rates are integrated into the system, and custom codes and rates may also be implemented.  Since PAWS authorizations can be imported, tracking “remaining units and dollars” is done for you and can eliminate over-budget billing.

Staff-to-Staff Messaging

The Dashboard includes a simple messaging system to allow staff to communicate with other staff without the use of email.  Managers can also send a message to all staff when important announcements are necessary.

Reporting / Compliance

Hundreds of reports are available to help with compliance and business analysis.  The reports are organized by topic to help you quickly locate the specific desired report, and commonly used reports can be tagged as “favorites”.  All reports can be exported to PDF, CSV, Excel, and Word formats.  Our reports follow the DODD and Medicaid rules and have passed hundreds of audits and reviews, so you can be confident you will be compliant with all your documentation.

Any paper form can be replaced with an online version of that same form.  And of course, electronic signatures can also be captured directly or remotely.
